Monastery Vibes

Disclaimer: This was last weeks adventure. Slowly catching up....

A change of pace from our last stop, Massa became our home for the next 5 days. The city was quiet, the people were gracious, and the birds would gently wake you with their songs. The little hill top town was a place for cleansing the mind. Which was mostly interrupted by the fermented grapes and cackles of those among us. We made the best of our short stay, for we knew a change of pace was ahead of us...

Thrown in with the Wolves

Disclaimer: I'm behind.... your looking about two weeks into the past...

After our short 24 hour stay in the sleepy town of Ostia, it was on to Florence. I had kept the vast majority of the trip a complete mystery. No Googling, no background research, just skimmed the itinerary once and left the rest up to my imagination to decipher. It's better this way. No preconceived notions, just a new surprise around every corner. As we made our maiden voyage to Florence I could hear the city beyond the white noise of our creaking bus. The mystery was unveiled.

Blind Mason

Disclaimer: thought this posted back on December. Never hit PUBLISH.....Whoops

Powered up and ready to rock

Got to work with local Jacksonville band "Blind Mason" last month (November 2015). Playing music is one of my passions and being able to listen to some live music and take some photos along with it is as good as it gets.

Redbull Night Riders

There was a slight chill in the air, just enough for the jacket to make an appearance.

The coastline was lit up with a haze from the giant orbs that lined the beach.

Music was pumping, the crowd was thick.

Cody Thompson with the win.

Beginnings

I should be studying for a photo history test right now but the little voice in my head says otherwise. I'm sitting here sifting through photos I've taken in last two months, realizing 99% of them have never been seen by anybody else's eyes but my own. Time for a change, this blog is now live and will be updated periodically with some images I deem worthy. Keep your eyes peeled and God speed..........now back to the books.
